Bowling First announces a new online directory of everything bowling. Bowling First’s mission is to increase participation in bowling by having everything related to bowling in one easy to access location.
Concord, CA – USA, July 03, 2019 –(Press Release Wire)– Bowling First announces a new online directory of everything bowling. Participation in the sport of bowling has declined since the 50s and 60s. At the height of the bowling boom there were 12,000 bowling alleys across the US. Now there are less than 4,000 and bowling alleys are closing each year due to low participation in bowling leagues. There were over 9 million league participants and now the number is down to 1.5 million, according to the USBC.
Bowling First’s mission is to increase participation in bowling by having everything related to bowling in one easy to access location. This way juniors have an additional reason to bowl well, to make a high school bowling team. The next step is college bowling, where teams compete across the US to ultimately win the National Bowling Title. Bowling First also wanted to give adult bowlers an ability to find leagues at local bowing alleys, tournaments to compete in and pro shops to get the best in bowling accessories. By knowing that additional opportunities exist to advance in the sport of bowling, more juniors will work their way up to adult bowling leagues and tournament, ultimately increasing participation in the sport of bowling.
“We found it hard to find everything about bowling on the Internet, even with Google Search. Everything about bowling tends to be scattered across the Internet on multiple websites,” according to Alan Rothstein, Owner. Bowling First wants to consolidate everything bowling to make it easier for bowlers to find what they are looking for. Ultimately, increasing participation in the sport we all love, bowling.
